Terms and conditions of sale

Art.1: Registration :

All enrolments for surf lessons or club services at our facilities are made using the enrolment form, which must be duly completed by the parents or legal guardian in the case of a minor, or by the person concerned in the case of an adult. Payment for the service must be made by cash, credit card or cheque. A deposit of 30% of the total amount will be required to confirm the booking. The balance must be paid on the first day of the course.

Art.2: Conditions of participation :

To subscribe to a service, participants must meet the following conditions:
- Holder of a medical certificate of no contraindication to the practice of surfing dating less than one year,
- Know how to swim,
- Parental consent.

Art. 3: Cancellation of courses :

In the event of bad weather (heavy seas, thunderstorms, etc.), the lessons that cannot be carried out under the contracted service will be, in agreement with the students :

- Replaced by an alternative activity (discovery of the environment, equipment, raising awareness of ecology, theory lessons, visits to the shape workshop, etc.),
- Postponed to a later date depending on the school's timetable and the student's availability,
- Transformed into a credit valid in our structure,
- Reimbursed as a last resort.

Terms and conditions for reimbursing deposits
All cancellations :

- One month before the event: full refund of the deposit,
- Between 1 month and 15 days before the event: half the deposit refunded,
- Less than 15 days before the event: the deposit will not be refunded.

No refunds will be made for lessons missed due to the student's fault.

Art. 4: Liability :

Pupils are looked after by the centre and therefore under the responsibility of the instructors during the lesson times defined and communicated in advance.
Pupils are once again the responsibility of their parents or guardians at the end of the time slot. The structure's civil liability ceases outside this framework. Parents are obliged to check that lessons are taking place before leaving their children at our centre. All participants are responsible for their equipment in the event of loss or theft. Participants must be covered by personal accident and repatriation insurance.

Art. 5: Insurance :

All persons subscribing to a service will systematically be issued with a federal licence, including civil liability, personal accident, assistance and recourse cover, the terms of which are described in the ALLIANZ contract available to parents or legal guardians. Practice or competition licences offer cover for the entire time you are surfing. The school licence only provides cover during the teaching hours defined above. You will be able to take out additional insurance cover on site. Parents or legal guardians may refuse this insurance cover if they consider that they are sufficiently covered by their own insurance policy, in accordance with the terms of the law on sport.

Art. 6: Image rights :

By enrolling, you agree to the use of photos and/or films of your image taken during your course, for the production of all publicity documents, without financial compensation.

Art. 7: Entries :

We are committed to respecting the Ecole Française de Surf quality charter (charter visible at the club) for the teaching of its surf lessons.
